Our Mission
Sisters in Christ’s mission is to assist in the transformation of people by creating and weaving together a cohesive set of resources that promote their physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual wholeness. Sisters in Christ serve as a resource conduit, personal advocate, and supporter for those we serve.

Summer Camp
Keep your child learning, growing, and thriving all summer long. Sisters in Christ Summer Camp welcomes children ages 5–12 for a safe, structured, and fun-filled experience designed to build confidence, life skills, and a love of learning.
Through grade-level academic preparation and hands-on enrichment activities, campers stay sharp, make friends, and develop the social skills that last a lifetime — all in a nurturing, supportive environment rooted in community.
Make a Difference
Every dollar raised through our gala goes directly to housing, mental health services, and workforce support for women in Kansas City who have nowhere else to turn. No prerequisites. No judgment. Just a path forward.
Our Programs
Recovery Housing
2 homes, supporting 50-60 women. Residents can share challenges, build life skills, and work toward self-sufficiency.

Youth Programs
- Summer Camp for children ages 5–12 Building an Empire
- Youth Entrepreneurship Program serves youth ages 13–17
- Lawn Care teaches youth the basics of outdoor maintenance
- Rites of Passage helps young men develop the tools they need to transition successfully into adulthood
- Day Programming is for students on long‑term suspension provides a structured, supportive environment
